CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUMENT INSTRUCTOR(CFII)

Course Description

The Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) rating allows you to instruct the instrument rating program. You will gain an advanced understanding of instrument regulations, aircraft & navigation systems, and the fundamentals of instruction. This will be accomplished using an R44.

Beyond being able to instruct for all lower ratings, you will be more marketable to employers.

 

Estimated Tuition to Meet FAA Minimums – $5,000
 


Program requirements
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Hold at least a Commercial Pilot certificate with Instrument rating
  • Hold a 3rd Class Medical
  • Pass a written knowledge testPass a final checkride with an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner, consisting of an oral exam and flight check.
